Jesse Jagz frowns at “too much dancing’ät the Headies

Finally Jesse Jagz  won the award for Lyricist on the roll for -God on the Mic He had it coming even though he lost out in two other categories, Best Rap Album(Olamide) and Best dancehall song (Patoranking)…..
Aptly labelled ad  ‘rebel’ of Nigerian music,  Jesse’s speech proved just that when he dedicated his award to homeless and told the crowd, they need to focus on those who are homeless… And he skipped vote of thanks.
Then he took to  Twitter to condemn  Nigerian music focus on dance music despite happenings around the world.
See his tweets from below.
@Jessejagz I watched the headies.. too much dancing in a country that’s going thru so much. We musicians are the guardians of society.
@Jessejagz We need to stop always thinking that things will be better.. we are the change. Things will never change.
@Jessejagz Thank you to jagznation. My management. My production team. Thank you for loving and supporting the music. I love you
