At the 2015 Grammy’s, Kanye West blasted Beck for winning the Album of the Year award.

Lupita Nyongo’s Stolen $150k Dress Returned Because the Pearls Are Fake

TMZ reports that the dress was returned to the London West Hollywood Hotel where it was stolen from. There’s a twist however. The thief called TMZ to tell them where it could be found as the Calvin Klein dress allegedly worth $150K, was a worthless fake.
The thief called saying he had taken the dress from Lupita’s hotel room after he noticed the door was ajar. He and others took two pearls off of the dress and took them to the garment district in downtown L.A where he was told they were fake.
The thief according to TMZ, then decided to take the dress back to the Hotel in a garment bag that was inside a trash bag and deposited on a 2nd floor bathroom adjacent to a fitness center.
TMZ contacted the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. and gave them the info. The police went over to the hotel, and they found a garment bag with the dress inside just as the thief had described.
The thief said he contacted TMZ because he wanted the world to know “Hollywood’s fake bulls**t.”

Prince Harry and Emma Watson Reportedly Dating?

Prince Harry might be dating former Harry Potter star Emma Watson.
According to Woman’s Day, the Harry Potter actress has been going on “secret dates” with the fourth-in-line to the throne. And whilst it may seem rather farfetched, particularly as Emma is rumoured to be dating Harry Styles.
The Aussie mag reports that Harry has made a change from his typical choice of blonde beauties and is “smitten” with his new beau. It claims that the prince decided to make his move following Emma’s split from Oxford University student Matt Janney, and invited her to party to show that he’s “fun and not stuffy.”

The actress and single mother can very well afford the property as she is the brand ambassador for top brands Range Rover, Etisalat and Amstel Malta. The private property of Genevieve who also has a clothing line, is reproted to be guarded by a security company.
She is definitely not a new face in Ghana as she stayed there a while back for about a year after she and some of her colleagues where banned from acting. Her first music video was even released in Ghana at that time.

Kanye West Wins BET Visionary Award, Gives Awesome speech

Kanye West shared a kiss with his wife as he received the Visionary Award at the 2015 BET Honors, which was broadcast yesterday night after being taped last month.
For his acceptance speech, Mr West turned to a human rights activist. Kanye began by saying he felt humbled for the first time in his life and then used his relationship with Kim, who is a “person not of color” to talk about race and separatism. He thanked Kim and told everyone that she wasn’t in a relationship with him for his fame or fortune
“My wife has dated broke black dudes so it ain’t got nothing to do with the money.”
He shared a story Kim once told him about her father Robert Kardashian being deemed a “n*gger lover” for representing O.J. Simpson. Kanye said, “We deal with racism because there are different races. Or the micro of it is that we focus on the different races, as opposed to the macro, which is the human race.”
While making reference to some of his past controversial remarks, Kanye said “race” and “people’s perception of celebrity” have been used to stop him from being “empowered,” and argued that the worth of black people have been misrepresented. He even said, “Harriet Tubman could have freed more if they only knew they weren’t free.” West went on, “So don’t think that because we can afford this custom Balmain suit that we’re free. And don’t think that because we can buy a $300,000 car that we’re free. And don’t think because three percent of a gated community has colored people in it that we’re free.”
“It’s the mentality, the slave mentality, that we all eventually become slaves to that car, slaves to the perception, slaves to the idea of being cool,” West continued. He concluded, “Our power, our oil, since we don’t own any oil, is our expression, is our influence. Don’t never let them take that away. And when we have the chance to express it and influence, don’t just do it for us. Do it for the human race.”

Kylie’s new home is a block away from Kourtney andKhole Kardashian home. The 17 year old new home has a sick home theater, a pool, 5 bedrooms, kitchen and more.
According to TMZ,“Kylie has made a lot of money on KUWTK. To give you an idea, we’re told Scott Disick banks $4 million a season, so she’s got the cash. We’re told Kris Jenner is “helping her” with the purchase, but we’re told it’s Kylie loot.”

Ukraine crisis: Leaders plan new Minsk peace talks

The leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France aim to meet in Belarus's capital Minsk
on Wednesday to discuss a peace plan for eastern Ukraine.

It comes after leaders of the four countries discussed the ongoing conflict by telephone on Sunday.
More than 5,300 people have been killed by fighting between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russia rebels since April 2014.
Western countries accuse Russia of arming the rebels and sending troops to Ukraine - claims Russia denies.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande have been leading efforts to establish a new peace plan.
Analysis: Jonathan Marcus, BBC diplomatic correspondent, Munich
The pace of diplomatic activity to reach a deal to resolve the Ukraine crisis has been dramatically accelerating. With German Chancellor Angela Merkel in the driving seat and French President Francois Holland as her co-pilot, the push is on for a deal.
However, while few details have been provided, this is not a substantially new peace plan.

When I spoke to UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond on Saturday, he was reluctant to even go so far as labelling it as "Minsk Plus". A deal is still an aspiration rather than an approaching reality.
The level of frustration many Western countries feel against Russia's policies has been palpable - Mr Hammond for example branded President Vladimir Putin as "some kind of 20th-Century tyrant".
The heady optimism surrounding last year's deal evaporated quickly. This year people are much, much more cautious.
The detailed proposals of the peace plan have not been released, but the plan is thought to include a demilitarised zone of 50-70km (31-44 miles) around the current front line.
Mrs Merkel, Mr Hollande, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Russian President Vladimir Putin held an "extensive" telephone conference on Sunday, German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said in a statement.
Mrs Merkel and Mr Hollande (right) met Mr Putin in Moscow on Friday
The four parties discussed "a package of measures" to try to reach "a comprehensive settlement of the conflict in eastern Ukraine", Mr Seibert said, adding that the leaders aimed to meet on Wednesday.
However, Mr Putin said the planned meeting would only take place "if by that time we manage to agree on a number of points".
Signatories of a previous ceasefire deal - Ukraine, Russia, rebel representatives and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) - would also meet in Minsk on Wednesday, Mr Seibert said.
That deal, which was signed in Minsk last September, failed to end the fighting and the rebels have since seized more ground.

Abu Dhabi school ordered to close after death of three year old

ABU DHABI // Al Worood Academy Private School will be shut down and fined Dh150,000 after a three-year-old girl died last year when she was locked on a school bus.
The Misdemeanour Court ruled on Sunday that the bus supervisor will spend three years in jail and be fined Dh20,000 for negligence that caused the girl’s death.
The court heard she failed to check the back row where the girl was sleeping before leaving the bus.
Nizaha Aalaa died from suffocation when she was locked in the vehicle after it arrived at the school. Her body was discovered at 11.45am.
The bus driver was also sentenced to three years in jail plus a Dh20,000 fine. The school administrator was given a suspended three-year jail sentence and fined Dh20,000 for failing to check student records that day.
The school was ordered to close, pay a fine of Dh50,000 for causing the girl’s death and pay a further Dh100,000 for endangering students’ lives by hiring unlicenced school buses.
The bus company owner was sentenced to six months in jail for endangering the lives of others, and was ordered to pay a fine of Dh500,000 for employing staff not on his sponsorship.
In addition, the first four defendants were ordered to pay blood money of Dh200,000, to be divided between them.
Nizaha’s death, which shocked the local community, has led to a raft of new safety measures being introduced by authorities in the capital.
Each defendant has one month to appeal against their sentence.

Islamic State crisis: Jordan air strikes 'destroy' IS hideouts

Jordan says it has carried out 56 air strikes in three days on Islamic State logistics sites and hideouts.
"We achieved what we aimed at," Air Force chief Gen Mansour al-Jbour said.

Jordan intensified its strikes after captured pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh was shown being burned alive by the IS.

Jordan has carried out nearly 20% of all sorties by the US-led coalition against IS in Syria so far, Gen Jbour said, adding: "We are determined to wipe them from the face of the Earth."
IS seized control of large areas of Iraq and Syria last year, prompting hundreds of raids by coalition war planes.

The focus of Jordan's air strikes is reported to be Raqqa, the IS stronghold in Syria, but no specifics were given.
Gen Jbour said the strikes had degraded nearly 20% of the militants' capabilities.
IS militants said that one of the strikes killed US aid worker Kayla Mueller, although the claim could not be verified.

A video of Lt Kasasbeh, 26, being burned alive in a cage, was posted online by IS earlier this week.
He was captured by the militants in December after his F-16 fighter jet crashed in Syria. The video is believed to have been filmed on 3 January.

Jordan had offered to swap Sajida al-Rishawi, a failed female suicide bomber, for the captured pilot. Jordan executed Rishawi and another convicted al-Qaeda operative on Wednesday.

Timeline: Jordanian pilot held hostage

24 December 2014: Jordanian Lt Moaz Youssef al-Kasasbeh captured by IS after his plane crashes
25 December 2014: Pilot's father urges IS to show mercy
20 January 2015: IS threatens to kill two Japanese hostages unless Japan pays $200m ransom within 72 hours
24 January: IS releases video of Japanese hostage Kenji Goto holding a picture apparently showing Haruna Yukawa's decapitated body
24 January: IS calls for release of Sajida al-Rishawi, an Iraqi militant sentenced to death in Jordan
28 January: Jordan offers to release Rishawi in exchange for Lt Kasasbeh
29 January: Deadline to kill Lt Kasasbeh and Mr Goto expires
31 January: Video released appearing to show Kenji Goto's body
3 February: Video released appearing to show Lt Kasasbeh burnt alive, with Jordanian media suggesting he was killed weeks earlier

Harvard tells professors: No more sex with undergrads

if that car parked in Harvard Yard is a rockin', school officials may soon come a knockin', because
hanky-panky between students and faculty at the elite university has officially been banned.

Specifically, the school adopted a new policy this week that prohibits romantic relationships between undergraduates and professors. The previous policy only did so between professors and the students they taught.

Harvard released a statement saying a specially appointed committee "determined that the existing language on relationships of unequal status did not explicitly reflect the faculty's expectations of what constituted an appropriate relationship between undergraduate students and faculty members ... therefore, the committee revised the policy to include a clear prohibition to better accord with these expectations."

The action comes nearly a year after the U.S. Department of Education announced it was investigating 55 colleges and universities, including Harvard, for violations pertaining to Title IX, the federal law prohibiting sex discrimination on college campuses.

Harvard responded at the time by saying it had appointed its first ever Title IX officer, and that the school's president "recently announced the creation of a university-wide task force -- composed of faculty, students and staff -- that will recommend how we can better prevent sexual misconduct at Harvard."

The new policy is the result of "a formal process to review Harvard University's Title IX policy," the school said.

My country's problem with menstruation

Six years ago, I was in the fifth grade and my teachers were
planning a school trip to the nearby town of Karjat. A hundred chatty students were to go there by bus, engage in a little sightseeing and return at night.
At that age, getting a monthly visit from a certain bloody friend was relatively uncommon. The boys were kept in the dark and my friends and I talked about it in hushed tones. Getting one's period was frightening and no one was particularly excited about this coming of age rite. To make us feel more comfortable, the teachers asked us to inform them if we got our periods and reassured us that we'd be taken care of.
I got mine on the day of the trip. It wasn't my first time, but I informed a teacher anyway and hopped on the bus.
One of the places of interest in Karjat was a huge, historic temple. My classmates and I went inside and marveled at the carvings (or picked our noses; I don't remember). As we exited, another teacher pulled me aside and asked me if I had my period. I said yes. Her expression changed instantly and in a terrifying, angry voice, she told me this:
"How did you go inside the temple then? Don't you know you're not supposed to? Hasn't your mother told you that you can't step inside a temple when you have your period? Call your mother tomorrow; I want to meet her!"
I thought I'd made the largest blunder of my life. I was mortified. I apologized and got onto the bus, where I spent the entire ride home nearly in tears.
I didn't understand why my entering a temple was such a big deal, and I was confused and anxious about what she'd say to my mother the next day. As I frantically told my mom what the teacher had said, a look of disgust crossed her face and she told me to relax. She explained to me that we don't believe in these things. She shrugged off the teacher's words and told me that it was a dumb superstition.
The next day, I didn't meet the teacher and she forgot all about it. But she had shamed me for entering the scary world of puberty, just because I'd visited a temple. What kind of human being does that to a harmless child?
My mother showed me that getting my period doesn't make me a bad or abnormal person. But others don't seem to agree. I see variations of this incident happening around me every day.
In my friend's family, when women have their period, they don't enter the kitchen. They're not allowed to cook. I know a family who doesn't allow their maid to enter their house when it's her time of the month. Recently, my aunt wanted me to attend a neighbor's pooja -- a type of Hindu prayer ritual -- but the instant I told her I had my period, she asked me not to come. She told me that it's disrespectful. I was shocked.
I hate this belief. I hate that women mindlessly follow it and men advocate it. Women are considered sick, impure and even untouchable when they're having their period. So, God obviously hates me when I'm on my period because I can't hang out with him in a temple. Food hates me, too, because I can't enter the kitchen to spread butter on bread. I guess some people also hate me, because I can't enter their house.
Women of India: The next time someone asks you not to go to temple or cook pasta when your red friend is visiting, ask them to take a hike. Ask them why they believe in such archaic customs. And if you're a person who has been believing these sick rules for so long:
Shame on you for making women follow your Stone Age way of life and forcing them to feel different and abnormal because of a normal, healthy biological occurrence.
Women don't contaminate an area or spiritual idea by bleeding. Menstrual blood is not dirty or impure. So if you still believe in your silly custom, I'm sorry, but no entering the kitchen or temple when you cut your knee on a sharp corner.
I refuse to be treated as less capable, weaker, dirty or impure for being a woman. God loves all his children: rich or poor, man or woman, menstruating or not. It's high time we speak openly about menstruation in India, a country that truly needs to quash its taboos one at a time. I think talking and writing about it freely is the only way we'll get it done.
    I bleed. Deal with it.
