Politics seems to be the new rave among Nigerian celebs. Popular Nollywood actress,Bukky Wright, also got entangled in the politics bug but unfortunately for her, she lost the ticket to vie for a seat in the House of Representatives representing Abeokuta South Federal Constituency of Ogun State on the Social Democratic Party platform.
The actress lost to a former aide of the state Governor, Ibikunle Amosun, Joseph Sopade, who recently defected from the All Progressive Congress, APC, to join Aremu Segun Osoba, in SDP, so as to contest in the election in 2015.
Wright has joined celebs like Kate Henshaw, Kenneth Okonkwo, Kenny Saint Best, 9ice, Tony Tetuila, amongst others, whose political ambition has been short-lived.
