Mariah Carey and Jennifer Lopez have both been named in connection with Britney Spears' competing Las Vegas residency.

But neither will out-diva Sir Elton John, whose salary is thought to be more than $500k for every Nevada show at The Colosseum.

Elton's new venue has fewer tickets to sell than Britney's Planet Hollywood gig but he still stands to take home $25k more than the Lucky singer every night.
