Yesterday Noisey dropped off their third episode in the “Atlanta” docu-series, and this episode focused on the influence of Young Jeezy and Gucci Mane on trap music, and Atlanta as whole. Even locked up, GuWop is basically the reigning king of the ATL, and anyone coming up in the scene gets his stamp approval first (before proceeding to blow up, Migos, Rich Homie, Young Thug etc). Although Gucci will be locked up until 2016, he hasn’t stopped releasing music, and he’s probably more consistent than rappers who actually have their freedom. Today we get a new Gucci track by way of producer Roger Beat, in anticipation of his mixtape Beats N Drugs.
Brick Factory 3 is expected to arrive on February 1st, and Trap House 5 will follow on February 12th.
