Lupita Nyongo’s Stolen $150k Dress Returned Because the Pearls Are Fake
The thief called saying he had taken the dress from Lupita’s hotel room after he noticed the door was ajar. He and others took two pearls off of the dress and took them to the garment district in downtown L.A where he was told they were fake.
The thief according to TMZ, then decided to take the dress back to the Hotel in a garment bag that was inside a trash bag and deposited on a 2nd floor bathroom adjacent to a fitness center.
TMZ contacted the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept. and gave them the info. The police went over to the hotel, and they found a garment bag with the dress inside just as the thief had described.
The thief said he contacted TMZ because he wanted the world to know “Hollywood’s fake bulls**t.”

A cinema managed to sit down a whole bunch of kids and their parents ready for a giggle at the new Spongebob Squarepants movie, only to then show them R-rated BDSM flick instead.
The mixup happened at an 11.45am showing of The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water – which has a PG rating – on Friday morning with kids settling down in to their seats only for their horrified parents to leap in to action and usher them out when the movie started rolling and up popped Fifty Shades Of Grey starring Jamie as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele.The R-rated BDSM flick was accidentally turned on in the MetroLux 14 theatre in Loveland, Colo, USA much to the dismay of the waiting audience. However the damage was minimal as bosses quickly realised the error and switched over to the planned showing with children’s movie trailers swiftly replacing the erotic tale.

It seems the big bucks are still rolling in for the Nigerian actress Genevieve Nnaji as she just allegedly purchased a $4 Million House In Achimota area of Nigeria’s neighboring country, Ghana.
According to City People magazine on February 23, 2015, the 35 year old actress who was referred as the‘Julia Roberts’ of Nigeria by American media mogul Oprah Winfrey, is the new owner of a mansion in Accra, Ghana which cost $4M.
The actress and single mother can very well afford the property as she is the brand ambassador for top brands Range Rover, Etisalat and Amstel Malta. The private property of Genevieve who also has a clothing line, is reproted to be guarded by a security company.
She is definitely not a new face in Ghana as she stayed there a while back for about a year after she and some of her colleagues where banned from acting. Her first music video was even released in Ghana at that time.
Kanye West Wins BET Visionary Award, Gives Awesome speech
Kanye West shared a kiss with his wife as he received the Visionary Award at the 2015 BET Honors, which was broadcast yesterday night after being taped last month.
For his acceptance speech, Mr West turned to a human rights activist. Kanye began by saying he felt humbled for the first time in his life and then used his relationship with Kim, who is a “person not of color” to talk about race and separatism. He thanked Kim and told everyone that she wasn’t in a relationship with him for his fame or fortune
“My wife has dated broke black dudes so it ain’t got nothing to do with the money.”
He shared a story Kim once told him about her father Robert Kardashian being deemed a “n*gger lover” for representing O.J. Simpson. Kanye said, “We deal with racism because there are different races. Or the micro of it is that we focus on the different races, as opposed to the macro, which is the human race.”
While making reference to some of his past controversial remarks, Kanye said “race” and “people’s perception of celebrity” have been used to stop him from being “empowered,” and argued that the worth of black people have been misrepresented. He even said, “Harriet Tubman could have freed more if they only knew they weren’t free.” West went on, “So don’t think that because we can afford this custom Balmain suit that we’re free. And don’t think that because we can buy a $300,000 car that we’re free. And don’t think because three percent of a gated community has colored people in it that we’re free.”
“It’s the mentality, the slave mentality, that we all eventually become slaves to that car, slaves to the perception, slaves to the idea of being cool,” West continued. He concluded, “Our power, our oil, since we don’t own any oil, is our expression, is our influence. Don’t never let them take that away. And when we have the chance to express it and influence, don’t just do it for us. Do it for the human race.”
